It’s been quite a summer! I’ve finally found the time to sit down and work on some new additions, so check back for more updates

If I haven’t mentioned before, an awesome perk of my job is getting to meet such talented photographers and videographers. It really is amazing how a picture or video can capture these once in a lifetime moments..

Here are some highlights of hair and makeup I’ve done over the past few months:

In a few weeks I’m off to do my cousin’s wedding in Germany! I can’t wait!

Here’s a recap of Nancy and Rajiv’s wedding from back in April.  Anthony from ALUMIQ sent this over to me today; I couldn’t help but post it immediately. I love the blend of Vietnamese and Indian cultures seen in the outfits and ceremonies. I was speechless (and literally crying) when watching this. Enjoy

I have to admit that I’m terrbile at keeping my blog updated!

What have I been up to the past few months and weeks? Well, let me see… weddings, proms, a debut, my own graduation, and oh, the GLEE LIVE CONCERT!!

The cast of GLEE is on a concert tour and I had the pleasure of doing their makeup last week in LA at the Universal Gibson Amphitheater. I had a blast doing makeup, watching the concert, and simply meeting some great people from the cast of GLEE as well as everyone who worked behind the scenes of the concert. How could I NOT love my job??

Now that summer is right around the corner and wedding season is in full bloom, my work schedule is going to be crazy. I can’t wait

Here are some great close ups from Myling’s e-session shot by Kim Le. There’s been a couple of clients who booked Kim for previous gigs I did, yet we keep on missing each other! I am definitely looking forward to meeting her this weekend for Myling’s wedding..

I’ve heard quite a bit about Caroline Tran’s work and now I have the opportunity to present her photos on my blog I love these shots of Debbie and Adam; they look genuinely happy and are so comfortable in front of the camera.

I personally think that Debbie could have pulled off this photoshoot without any makeup and she still would have looked amazing :p I like to tease her, but you have to agree that she’s a natural beauty!

For her look we went with a daytime smokey plum eyes with natural rosey lips. She had a full head of thick hair, so although we did some pretty tight curls, they softened perfectly by the time she got out to shoot.  Here are some of my favorites from the e-session:

I didn’t mention how much I loved working with Ashley; she has a wonderful spirit and a sweet charm to her.  Now when it came to wedding planning, this girl was on top of it! I know who I’m going to when it comes to my big day :] I especially loved her peacock theme which you can see from the dresses, flowers, shoes, and even the peacock feathers in the bouquets!

In addition to the video posted previously done by Alumiq, Ashley’s wedding was shot by one of my favorites, Jason Q. Tran. His work never ceases to impress me!

Hi everyone! I’ll be at Lifetime Weddings & Event’s Debut 2010 Wedding Show tomorrow, 3.19.2010. I hope to see you there! I’ll be doing hair and makeup for the bridal fashion show! Be sure to visit my booth and get all dolled up with some glamorous eyelashes! :]

Here is an amazing video of Ashley & Adam’s wedding done by Anthony from Alumiq. I absolutely love how everything was shot. I don’t know if I’m just a big sap but I love watching this over and over again!

Shirley and Joe had their wedding at the Pelican Hill Resort in Newport Coast. I have to say.. this place is ridiculously gorgeous!!  The Triple Cord team did an awesome job capturing Shirley’s perfect wedding. Here are my favorites!

Diana was referred to me by Lifetime Weddings & Events and I had the honor of doing her hair/makeup for her December wedding. I love the closeup shots of Diana; not only is she a gorgeous bride but she’s a natural model!! These photos of the wedding were captured by Tai Tran Photography.
